Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited is the country's national stock exchange, formed on 11 January 2016 by integrating the Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad stock exchanges; its roots go back to the Karachi Stock Exchange, set up in 1947. It provides a fair, transparent and efficient marketplace for raising capital and trading securities. Over 500 companies from 37 sectors are listed on it.
