Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Ltd was established in 1953 by a group that had traded textiles since the early 1900s, and was listed on the Karachi Stock Exchange in 1970. It is a composite textile unit that spins, weaves, dyes, processes and stitches products from cotton yarn to finished goods. It also runs a retail chain, Ideas by Gul Ahmed, with more than 40 stores across Pakistan.
