The Role
The Public Private Partnership Authority (P3A) is seeking an Associate Director, Finance and Accounts to support its financial management and accounting functions, including budgeting, financial reporting, audit coordination and compliance.
•Support effective management of P3A's financial affairs in line with applicable laws, regulations and procedures •Oversee day-to-day accounting and ensure accurate, complete and timely financial records, ledgers, vouchers and documentation •Support preparation of periodic and annual financial statements, management accounts and financial reports •Support preparation, monitoring and review of the annual budget, estimates and forecasts •Monitor budget utilisation, expenditure and variances and provide analysis and recommendations •Coordinate internal and external audits, respond to audit observations and follow up on recommendations •Ensure compliance with financial rules, accounting standards and internal controls •Supervise timely processing of payments, receipts and reconciliations •Monitor bank accounts and ensure timely bank reconciliations •Support development and strengthening of financial controls to safeguard funds and assets •Undertake financial analysis, expenditure reviews and variance analysis to support management decisions •Coordinate with departments on procurement-related financial matters and payment processing •Liaise with auditors, banks, government entities, Finance Division and service providers •Support enhancement of financial systems, processes and controls •Undertake any other tasks assigned by the CEO or P3A governing bodies

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (16 Years): Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics
Minimum 6 years of post-16-year relevant experience in financial management, accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, audit, corporate finance or related fields Preferred: Experience with a reputable firm, financial institution, multilateral organization and/ or public sector entity
Financial Management, Accounting, Budgeting, Financial Reporting, Auditing, Internal Controls, Financial Analysis, Stakeholder Management, Microsoft Excel
•ICMA, ACCA, CA, CPA, CFA or equivalent professional qualifications are also acceptable
