The Role

Character Education Foundation is hiring a male Tarbiya Center Lead on contract in Dhirkot, AJK, to supervise the Mothers' Education Programme across all 37 learning centres. The role ensures part-time instructors are trained, monitored and supported, curriculum delivery stays consistent and post-graduation Learning Circles function effectively, acting as the link between field instructors/ mentors and CEF Central.

•Recruit, orient and train part-time Tarbiyah Teachers appointed at each centre •Design and deliver mentor training sessions covering curriculum content •Build instructors' capacity in interactive teaching methods, including the use of educational videos and practical activities •Provide ongoing coaching to instructors throughout the working programme year •Conduct regular visits to all 37 Tarbiyah Centers to observe classes and ensure consistent quality of delivery •Verify attendance, enrollment criteria (20-25 literate women, ages 15-55) and adherence to the class schedule (five days a week, two hours daily) •Check that multimedia systems, laptops, UPS and seating are functional and properly maintained at each centre •Identify gaps or challenges at centre level and provide corrective guidance to instructors •Ensure all centres are following the approved one-year curriculum consistently •Coordinate with the Research & Development team at CEF to update or refine course content as needed •Support instructors in effectively using educational videos and practical activities in their teaching •Supervise the transition of graduating participants into weekly Learning Circles •Ensure Learning Circles are conducted twice a week covering Qur'an topics •Identify capable alumni who may be trained as future mentors or volunteer facilitators •Maintain records of teachers' performance, centre attendance and participant progress across all 37 centres •Prepare monthly progress reports for CEF Central management on programme performance and challenges •Share best practices and lessons learned to inform future expansion of the programme •Support Community Development Network (CDN) in formation of Village Development Councils (VDCs), coordinate and conduct meetings according to the need of CDN •Liaise with CEF Central for instructor honorariums, equipment maintenance and programme resources •Support planning for expansion of Tarbiyah Centers to additional villages as needed
