The Role

Master Group of Industries is hiring a Manager Cloud Operations in Islamabad to lead day-to-day operations, monitoring and support of cloud infrastructure (Huawei, AWS, Azure, GCP or hybrid), managing a team of cloud operations engineers with strong governance, security and cost control.

•Oversee daily cloud operations, including provisioning, monitoring, performance tuning and incident management •Ensure 24/7 availability and optimal performance of cloud-hosted applications and infrastructure •Establish and maintain operational runbooks, monitoring dashboards and escalation procedures •Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery and business continuity plans •Prepare POCs for customers at ICL cloud as per requirements •Lead and mentor a team of cloud operations engineers and administrators •Develop team capabilities in automation, observability and reliability engineering •Drive automation of cloud operations using IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation •Collaborate with DevOps teams to streamline deployment pipelines •Support customers with workload migrations to the ICL setup •Implement and enforce security best practices for cloud resources, access control and data protection •Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements and cloud governance frameworks •Monitor and optimize cloud usage and spending; implement tagging, reporting and chargeback models •Work with development, infrastructure and application teams on new service rollouts and upgrades •Collaborate with vendors and cloud service providers for issue resolution •Provide regular operational reports to senior management
