The Role

PepsiCo is hiring a Team Lead Mechanical (Punjab) to lead the maintenance team executing mechanical maintenance plans for potato chip and non-potato chip lines, reduce downtime, and lead the CILT, TPM and Kaizen programs in the process area.

•Upkeep and ensure operational condition of equipment through condition-based, time-based and preventive mechanical maintenance •Work as coordinator for the Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication and Tightening (CILT) pillar of TPM •Develop the mechanical PM calendar and ensure execution of plans (TPM/ CBM/ periodic overhaul) •Perform breakdown data analysis and root cause analysis to identify and execute downtime reduction projects •Set up a condition-based maintenance system including vibration analysis, temperature logging and load recording •Lead mechanical skill enhancement and competency development of POs and mechanical artisans •Manage and develop third-party mechanical maintenance teams and contractors in the process area •Drive continuous improvement through downtime reduction and efficiency improvement •Ensure availability of spares and drive cost and inventory optimization initiatives •Drive the SAP PM agenda by scheduling and closing PM work orders and reconciling downtimes and technical utilization •Drive the PEMM agenda for Engineering •Maintain and implement AIB standards with the Food Safety Manager and ensure adherence to safety policies •Support Maintenance Managers in day-to-day jobs and fill in for them when on leave •Comply with EHS, HR/ IR/ ER and food safety regulations
