The Role
The Guidance Counselor helps students assess their strengths, plan their academic careers and prepare for standardized tests at The City School Ravi Campus, Lahore.
•Assess students’ interests and help them realize their strengths •Help students develop a plan for their academic career that corresponds with their skills and interests •Provide internship/ volunteer opportunities that align with student interests to build overall profile •Encourage participation in community service and co-curricular activities to instill leadership skills and a sense of responsibility •Working closely with students to develop critical life skills such as organization and time management •Guide on timeline and preparation for standardized/ entry tests •Facilitate communication between teachers, parents, students and administrators about behavior and academic problems •Evaluate the progress of students and reinforce the sense of accomplishment
