The Role
The Ministry of National Food Security and Research seeks a Deputy Project Coordinator for the federal government project NPECA, to support implementation, coordination and monitoring of the water and agriculture project.
•Act as the Deputy Project Coordinator (DPC) for the federal government project NPECA •Work under the overall supervision of the Ministry of National Food Security and Research •Assist the Ministry in disposal of administrative and financial matters related to FPMU and in implementation of FSC decisions •Assist the Ministry in timely transfer of matching federal grants to the participating agencies •Work closely with provincial PMUs for effective implementation of the project •Assist the Ministry in compilation of periodic project monitoring reports, progress reports and working papers for FSC and FCC

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Masters: Economics, Finance, Water Resources, Agricultural Engineering
12 years' experience in the public/ private sector dealing with water and agriculture, including 5 years managing large-scale public-sector development projects Preferred: Experience of implementing public sector development projects
