The Role

ITA is hiring a District Manager in Sukkur to lead district-level programme operations, teams, government liaison, procurement and resource mobilisation for schools.

•Lead and manage district-level programme operations, ensuring quality implementation and timely achievement of targets •Supervise and support district teams, including coordinators, field officers and facilitators •Manage relationships with government stakeholders (district education officials, the School Education & Literacy Department, district administration), community stakeholders and partner organisations; secure approvals, coordinate joint activities and represent ITA in district-level meetings •Monitor field activities, ensure data accuracy and prepare regular progress reports •Support project monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) processes •Oversee district office administration, including logistics, travel, asset and inventory management and record-keeping •Lead district-level procurement: define requirements, obtain and compare quotations and ensure transparent, compliant, value-for-money purchasing •Identify, onboard and manage vendors and service providers, monitoring contract delivery, quality, timelines and payments •Lead fundraising and resource mobilisation for schools by engaging local philanthropists, businesses, CSR programmes and community contributors; prepare funding proposals and maintain donor relationships •Ensure adherence to ITA's safeguarding, gender equality, PSEA and inclusion policies

Required Education Level/ Field of Study

Bachelor's Degree (16 Years): Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies
Masters: Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies

Required Experience

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project implementation, coordination or management, preferably in the education or development sector Preferred: Experience working with government departments, preferably the education department in Sindh; track record in fundraising or resource mobilisation for schools
