The Role

DHA Multan is seeking a highly experienced and competent professional (retired Corps of Engineers officer, Col/ Lt Col) for a senior leadership position within its Engineering & Infrastructure setup, providing strategic, technical and operational leadership across multiple engineering functions and the planning, development and execution of major infrastructure and development projects within DHA Multan.

•Oversee planning, design, execution, supervision and completion of major infrastructure and development projects across DHA Multan •Ensure timely and quality-driven execution of roads, buildings, water supply, sewerage, drainage, utilities, MEP and other allied infrastructure projects •Review and oversee engineering designs, drawings, BOQs, estimates, specifications, project proposals and technical submissions •Monitor project performance against approved scope, cost, quality and timelines, ensuring timely corrective measures where required •Provide technical oversight and effective management of consultants, contractors and project teams to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications and contractual requirements •Ensure implementation of robust quality assurance, quality control, inspection and testing mechanisms across engineering projects •Review technical variations, claims, cost implications and contractual matters and provide appropriate recommendations to the Authority Empowered •Identify and resolve complex engineering, construction and project execution issues through technically sound and cost-effective solutions •Ensure effective coordination among Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Finance and other relevant branches for seamless project execution •Provide expert technical advice to the Senior Management/ Authority Empowered on major development projects, engineering strategies and infrastructure-related matters •Review and enhance engineering policies, SOPs, standards and project management practices to improve efficiency, quality and accountability •Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing multidisciplinary engineering team •Ensure effective monitoring, documentation and reporting of major engineering projects and key performance indicators
