The Role
Soorty is hiring Trainee Engineers (fresh graduates) in its Utility & Maintenance department, onsite at Nooriabad.
•Knowledge about genset/ grid synchronization, droop and power factor control, MV/ LV switchgear protections and breaker interlocking logic •Practical exposure to islanded and grid-connected micro grid operations: managing dynamic load sharing between conventional generators, renewables and battery storage (BESS), dispatch optimization and spinning •Orientation in industrial wind/ solar generation fundamentals: turbine aerodynamic cut-in/ cut-out controls, pitch/ yaw drive monitoring, power curve tracking and integration dynamics during high wind conditions •Operational training on chillers, chilled water circuits, cooling towers and compressed air systems to optimize specific energy consumption (kW/ TR) •Hands-on training in MV/ pressurized line LOTO, arc flash safety, SOPs and condition monitoring (vibration, thermal, oil analysis)
