The Role

Hasnaat Brothers Construction Co. (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a full-time Accounts Manager (Finance & Accounts) for its Chilas Project, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. The role manages vendor payments, inventory, banking coordination, financial reporting and compliance across construction operations.

•Process and reconcile vendor invoices against purchase orders, delivery notes and contracts; resolve discrepancies •Manage the accounts payable cycle: scheduling and releasing payments as per agreed terms and cash-flow plans •Maintain vendor ledgers, obtain balance confirmations and reconcile statements •Liaise with procurement and site teams for timely, cost-effective sourcing of materials and services •Oversee store/ stock records for construction materials across sites; ensure receipts (GRNs), issuances and returns are accurately recorded •Monitor stock levels, reorder points and material consumption against BOQs •Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile with system records; investigate variances •Implement controls over material movement, wastage and inventory safeguarding •Coordinate with site store-keepers and project managers on planning and issuance •Coordinate with banks on day-to-day banking operations and facilities •Prepare, process and follow up on JPCs with clients, consultants and banks for timely realization of payments •Arrange, review and track bank guarantees (bid bonds, performance, advance payment and retention) and maintain a register of expiring guarantees and margins •Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely month-end close •Prepare cost reports, project-wise expense analysis and variance reports •Support internal and external audits with schedules and reconciliations •Ensure compliance with applicable tax (income tax, sales tax/ withholding) and statutory requirements •Undertake additional assignments as directed by management, including periodic visits to project sites when required
