The Role
The Federal Government (Cabinet Division) invites applications for the post of Chairman, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) on contract, equivalent to SPPS-I, for an initial term of four years, eligible for reappointment for a similar term or till the age of 65, whichever is earlier.
•Achieve both goals and targets as set by the OGRA Board •Manage all operations of the OGRA in a goal-oriented, seamless and transparent manner in accordance with policies & procedures and statutes •Set & implement strategies, policies, programs, goals both short and long-term to regulate mid-stream and down-stream Oil & Gas Sector in Petroleum •Maintain working relationship with all stakeholders both internal and external

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Masters: Law, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Public Administration
Minimum 20 years of experience in a large public sector organization(s) and/ or national/ multinational private sector organization(s), with at least 3 years experience as head of a public and/ or private sector organization(s); related experience in law, business, engineering, finance, accounting, economics, petroleum, technology, public administration or management Preferred: Experience of sector regulation along with demonstrable track record of senior level policy and strategy formulation

Preferred: Policy Formulation
•Master's degree (minimum 16 years of education) from a renowned HEC recognized university or institution in any combination of law, business, engineering, finance, accounting, economics, petroleum, technology, public administration or management, sector regulation •Degree from a recognized foreign institution will be an advantage •Contract appointment; pay and fringe benefits equivalent to SPPS-I
