The Role

The Ministry of Railways is hiring a Director/ Business Development (PPS-10, contract) to lead business development, marketing initiatives and public-private partnership (PPP) projects of Pakistan Railways.

•Identifying and contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings •Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives •Researching to find new opportunities for private investments •Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones •Researching and coordinating for PPP projects •Evaluating PPP project proposals •Monitoring the implementation of PPP projects •Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met •Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills •Developing checklists for all essential processes falling under his/ her domain •Developing capacity of his/ her team in the relevant areas of expertise •Any other tasks given by Competent Authority
