The Role

Air University requires IT Technicians (2 posts) in the Networks Department at its Aerospace & Aviation Campus, Kamra, for network cabling, CCTV and computer hardware support.

•Repair and maintain computer equipment •Troubleshoot computers, printers, scanners and UPS •Install, configure and optimise operating systems and IT software, including bulk installations through cloning •Install, lay, terminate and test network cables (Cat6, optical fibre) for data, CCTV, telephone and Wi-Fi networks •Install and configure network switches, access points, cameras, CCTV systems and NVRs •Diagnose and fix LAN, CCTV, Wi-Fi and telephone connectivity issues •Recover recordings from CCTV systems and carry out route maintenance

Required Experience
