The Role
Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Lahore invites applications for a 3-year Fellowship in Medical Oncology, part of an established training programme recognized by the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan, covering solid tumours and haematological malignancies with a strong emphasis on research.
•Rotate through various site specialist oncology teams over 3 years for exposure to the whole range of oncology, supervised by consultant oncologists with regular appraisals •Take part in patient care in outpatient clinics, inpatient floors and the chemotherapy bay •Participate in an on-call rota for assessment and management of patients presenting to the emergency assessment room •Participate in the academic activities of the department including presentations, research, audit and teaching junior doctors and nurses
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Professional Bachelor: Medicine (MBBS)
- Professional Master's Degree: Internal Medicine
•FCPS in Internal Medicine or equivalent •Full PMDC/ PMC registration
