The Role
Engro Fertilizers Limited is hiring a Factory Manager for its Daharki Plant (District Ghotki) to lead the Personnel and Industrial Relations section and contribute to sound Industrial Relations policies, systems and practices at the manufacturing division.
•Recommend and contribute to the development of sound Industrial Relations (IR) policies, systems and practices and assist the Administrative Manager in their implementation •Provide professional advice and guidance to all departments on IR-related matters •Instruct first-line supervisors in the recognition, elimination and prevention of unsafe acts and conditions •Instruct first-line supervisors in the induction and orientation of new or transferred employees •Maintain industrial peace at the plant site and advise the manager on legal actions in accordance with applicable labour laws •Lead negotiations of collective labour agreements with all unions •Maintain transparency across functions and introduce processes to improve efficiency, tracking and monitoring •Ensure implementation of labour agreements and policies and take disciplinary action in cases of violations •Ensure smooth operation of payroll and benefits administration for NMPTs staff •Follow up on labour-related court cases and maintain the risk register •Develop the team's knowledge of applicable factory acts and labour laws
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Masters: Human Resource Management, Public Administration
- Professional Bachelor: Law
Industrial Relations, Labour Laws, Collective Bargaining, Payroll Administration
