The Role
Jazz is hiring an Expert RAN Optimization for its HQ RAN Optimization Team in Islamabad to own the user and application experience agenda across 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G, reporting to the Manager RAN Optimization.
•Drive nationwide user experience by optimizing accessibility, retainability, throughput and latency across 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G •Optimize application experience for video streaming, gaming, social media and OTT using app-level KPIs, DPI and probe data •Lead optimization and KPI-based acceptance of new sites, layers and technologies (5G NSA/ SA, L700, Massive MIMO, carrier additions) •Plan and run vendor feature trials, quantify gains and recommend nationwide rollout, while maintaining parameter baselines and closing audit discrepancies •Analyze network and crowdsourced data, automate recurring reporting and benchmark against competitors (Ookla/ Opensignal, drive tests, PTA QoS surveys) •Close VIP, corporate and regulatory complaints end to end, and hold Huawei and ZTE to feature commitments and SLAs

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor 16 Years: Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science
5-8 years of RAN optimization experience across 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G NSA/ SA, with a proven track record in feature trials, new-layer rollouts and site acceptances; hands-on Huawei and ZTE optimization experience Preferred: •Nokia or Ericsson experience •Python, SQL, Power BI/ Tableau, GIS and crowdsourced data experience
