The Role

Delivers the Life Orientation curriculum grounded in the CASEL framework, provides career and socio-emotional counselling and owns the student development calendar at TCF College, Karachi.

•Facilitate the Life Orientation curriculum using interactive, student-centered methodologies aligned with the 5 core competencies of the CASEL framework •Adapt session plans to the socio-emotional learning needs and academic transition requirements of TCF College students •Evaluate student engagement and socio-emotional progress •Conduct one-on-one and group counselling sessions on academic stress, socio-emotional challenges and career uncertainty •Help students discover their strengths, values and interests to guide them toward suitable higher education and career options •Maintain strict confidentiality and professional ethical standards in counselling •Drive design, planning, scheduling and execution of the student development calendar, including workshops, career sessions and guest lectures •Measure the effectiveness of events and workshops through feedback and student outcome metrics •Design and run mental health awareness campaigns, workshops and seminars for students and staff •Equip college staff to recognize early indicators of socio-emotional distress in students •Collaborate with the College Leadership Team, Lead- University Admissions and Alumni, and instructional staff •Work with external mental health professionals or career counsellors when specialized support is required •Maintain confidential records of counselling cases, workshop attendance and socio-emotional development indicators •Prepare periodic reports on student development calendar targets, workshop outcomes and mental health initiatives
