The Role
National Bank of Pakistan is hiring Tellers for Aitemaad Islamic Banking branches at Gujrat, Lahore, Mir Ali and Zaheerabad Shaheed, reporting to the Branch Operations Manager. The position is contractual for three years, renewable at the discretion of management.
•Receive cash from Branch Operations Manager/ Supervisor, record denominations and request additional cash when required •Provide account services by receiving deposits and withdrawals •Facilitate remittances, utility bill collection, government receipts/ payments and agency-based collection •Ensure vault management and holding of cash keys as per Bank SOP •Count and sort cash as per SBP directives and process funds transfers and ATM related transactions •Balance cash, prepare the cash book and reconcile with system-generated reports •Cross-sell bank products and refer customer needs to the Operations Manager/ Branch Manager •Report unusual or suspicious (STR) cash flow activity to the operations manager •Ensure ATM replenishment and compliance with banking laws, SOPs and Shariah compliance

- Bachelor's Degree (16 Years)
- Master's Degree (16 Years): Islamic Banking
Minimum 1 year of relevant banking experience
