The Role
National Bank of Pakistan is hiring Branch Operations Managers for Aitemaad Islamic Banking branches at Haripur, Jhelum, Karachi and Lahore, reporting to the Regional Executive- Operations. The position is contractual for three years, renewable at the discretion of management.
•Be responsible for all branch operations, internal control measures and compliance mechanisms •Assist the Branch Manager in achieving branch business KPIs and monitor the annual budget •Ensure compliance with banking laws, regulations, SOPs and Shariah compliance •Ensure branch opening/ closing on predefined timings and maintain customer service standards •Oversee administrative and operational staff and supervise data processing, voucher preparation and account opening •Ensure KYC/ AML compliance, reconciliation of branch general account and no unadjusted GLs or pending AML alerts •Address audit observations through Corrective Action Plan and maintain a minimum audit rating of B •Supervise cash requirements in the branch vault, ATM replenishment and branch security arrangements •Ensure monthly MIS reporting and maintenance of files and registers •Ensure all processes are completed within the specified TAT

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (16 Years)
- Master's Degree (16 Years): Islamic Banking
Minimum 4 years of banking experience, of which 2 years in core branch operations
SBP Prudential Regulations, Islamic Banking Products, Branch Operations, Leadership, MS Office
