The Role
National Telecommunication Corporation is hiring an Assistant Divisional Engineer (BPS-17) on a regular basis under the Balochistan domicile quota.
•Assist in management, planning and operation of ICT-based technical platforms •Manage data centre infrastructure including racks, servers and power systems •Manage data centre cloud and virtualization platforms, networks and security •Manage next generation network elements (voice and broadband) such as softswitch and MSAGs •Manage transmission network elements such as DWDM, SDH, Layer-2 and Layer-3 switches, microwave and radio access network •Manage the OSP network including optical fiber (FTTX, GPON) and copper cable network •Manage the broadband network including routers, BRAS, switches and customer premises devices •Manage and deploy relevant technical staff and maintain office and staff discipline •Maintain and analyse day-to-day official and technical reports •Carry out strategic planning and design of upcoming projects based on market trends and customer requirements •Prepare technical and financial plans for new deployments and for repair and maintenance of existing networks and systems •Define and implement SOPs and processes for smooth operations and maintenance of installed networks and systems

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor 16 Years: Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science
Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC)
