The Role
The Ministry of Railways invites applications for a contract Deputy Director IT Infrastructure to lead cloud and on-premise infrastructure strategy.
•Lead delivery of cloud and on-premise infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives, with a focus on deployment into the cloud •Define, measure and meet key service level objectives including availability, performance and incidents •Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture and processes •Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders to develop solutions for IT needs •Serve as an expert for IaaS end-to-end architecture and automation, including on-premise and cloud deployments •Conduct third-party solution assessments and provide input throughout the procurement process •Oversee network builds from procurement to in-service

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- PhD: Computer Science, Information Technology
- Masters: Computer Science, Information Technology
PhD with 3 years of professional experience in the relevant IT field, or Masters (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology, or MBA CIST/ IT/ MIS) with 5 years of professional experience in the relevant IT field
