Software Test Engineer

The Role

PakWheels is hiring a Software Test Engineer/ Software Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability and performance of its digital products.

•Write, update, and maintain automated test scripts for Web, Mobile, and APIs •Develop and execute functional, regression, integration, smoke, negative, and edge-case tests •Use AI-assisted testing tools for functional testing, generate test scenarios, improve coverage, and analyze failures •Define acceptance criteria and validate features against functional and non-functional requirements •Test AI-developed features for accuracy, relevance, consistency, hallucinations, bias, and fallback behaviour •Work with Product and Development teams to investigate, document, and resolve defects •Integrate automated test suites with CI/ CD pipelines •Perform cross-browser, cross-device, performance, and basic security testing •Monitor logs, analytics, crash reports, and test results to identify quality risks •Maintain test cases, test data, execution reports, and defect metrics •Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and continuously improve QA processes
