The Role
The engineer builds, integrates and migrates customer networks across firewalls, secure remote access, network access control, SD-WAN, enterprise wireless, routing and switching for public-sector, financial-services and large-enterprise customers.
•Deploy and configure multi-vendor next-generation firewalls including access policies, NAT, VPNs, IPS and threat prevention •Implement and upgrade network access control (Cisco ISE or equivalent) including 802.1X, TACACS+, RADIUS and MFA •Deliver branch-scale SD-WAN rollouts including onboarding, policy configuration and cutover •Deploy multi-site enterprise wireless and refresh routing and switching •Integrate AWS and Azure cloud networking and security •Develop implementation plans, methods of procedure, migration steps and rollback plans •Execute firewall migrations, platform upgrades and technology refreshes in live production •Troubleshoot network/ security incidents and support root-cause analysis and audit remediation •Complete handovers to managed services with as-built records, runbooks and knowledge transfer •Coach junior engineers and support Solutions Engineering with effort estimates and BOM checks

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor 16 Years: Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering
5+ years of network and network-security engineering experience, including at least 3 years delivering enterprise projects in a systems integrator, service-provider or managed-services environment
Firewalls, SD-WAN, Cisco ISE, Routing and Switching, Cloud Networking, Documentation
Willingness to travel nationwide and work customer change windows outside office hours; CCNP Enterprise or Security to be completed within six months of joining if not held (Jazz funds the exam fees)
