The Role

CPHGC is looking for an Officer- Comprehensive (anti-corrosion, coating and surface preparation) for a permanent position at its Plant Site.

•Check and coordinate the activities of all sub-departments (operations, maintenance, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, safety, etc.) •Perform surface preparation activities including cleaning, grinding, blasting and coating removal •Assist in applying protective coatings, paints and corrosion-resistant materials on plant equipment and structures •Inspect coating conditions and identify signs of corrosion or coating deterioration •Support maintenance teams in corrosion prevention and asset preservation activities •Ensure proper handling, storage and usage of painting and coating materials •Execute work effectively with maintenance, operations and contractor teams •Ensure proper storage and handling of paints, solvents, abrasives and consumable materials •Follow approved work procedures, quality requirements and technical instructions •Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings and technical training programs •Maintain good housekeeping standards at work locations upon completion of assigned tasks •Assist maintenance teams during outages, shutdowns and emergency maintenance activities •Work collaboratively with other technicians and contractors to complete assigned jobs on schedule •Ensure efficient utilization of materials and minimize waste during coating activities •Perform any other anti-corrosion and maintenance support duties assigned by supervisors
