The Role
PAF-IAST requires networking staff on contingent basis (daily wages) to maintain LAN/ WAN networks and provide IT support for computer labs.
•Configure, maintain and troubleshoot LAN/ WAN networks, VLANs, trunking and inter-VLAN routing on switches (Cisco, Huawei, etc.) •Monitor network uptime, bandwidth and device performance using tools like Zabbix and SNMP •Manage and support Wi-Fi networks and access points, and provide networking and IT support for computer labs (cabling, connector crimping, Windows installation and PC network diagnosis) •Maintain and troubleshoot IP cameras, IP phones and CCTV networks •Provide technical support for network, server, hardware, printer and connectivity issues •Monitor (NOC) bandwidth, uptime and network performance, and resolve issues proactively •Monitor all network processes to ensure the smooth flow of data across the network
