The Role
Procurement Officer for the Ghafoor Bashir Hospital Multi-Story Hospital Project, a project of Aziz Fatimah Trust, Faisalabad.
•Manage end-to-end procurement of civil, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, finishing and other project-related materials •Identify, evaluate and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers, vendors and contractors •Obtain and evaluate quotations, prepare comparative statements and negotiate competitive prices and terms •Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials according to project requirements and timelines •Coordinate with Project, Engineering, MEP, Finance and other relevant departments for procurement requirements •Prepare and maintain purchase orders, procurement records, vendor documentation and delivery schedules •Monitor market prices and identify cost-effective procurement opportunities •Ensure procurement activities are carried out in accordance with approved policies, procedures, quality standards and project requirements •Follow up with vendors regarding orders, deliveries, quality and other procurement-related matters •Develop and maintain an updated supplier/ vendor database •Perform any other procurement-related duties assigned by management

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor 16 Years: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in construction projects, hospitals, commercial buildings or large-scale infrastructure projects Preferred: Experience in procurement of Civil, MEP, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, finishing materials and hospital-related items; experience of procurement of medical/ surgical equipment
