The Role

Deputy General Manager to lead and manage the overall dyeing and processing operations of the Microfiber Division at the Head Office of Utopia Industries.

•Manage end-to-end Dyeing & Processing operations for the Microfiber Division •Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machinery, chemicals, dyes, water, energy, and other resources •Monitor and control process parameters to ensure consistent shade matching, color fastness, GSM, shrinkage, absorbency, and overall fabric quality •Identify process inefficiencies and implement initiatives for cost reduction, waste minimization, productivity improvement, and process optimization •Handle technical troubleshooting related to dyeing defects, shade variation, reprocessing, finishing issues, and quality concerns •Analyze production and quality KPIs, identify root causes of operational issues, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions •Drive continuous improvement and best practices across dyeing and processing operations •Oversee dyeing and processing activities, including pre-treatment, dyeing, washing, drying, finishing, and related processes •Work closely with Quality Control and Quality Assurance teams to resolve quality issues and maintain consistent product standards
