The Role
Consultant Endocrinologist for the Clifton Campus of Dr. Ziauddin Hospital, diagnosing, treating and managing patients with hormonal, endocrine and metabolic disorders.
•Diagnose and manage patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, pituitary and adrenal diseases, and other hormonal imbalances •Conduct patient consultations, perform clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and evidence-based guidelines •Monitor patients' progress, evaluate treatment outcomes and modify medications or treatment plans as required •Manage complex endocrine and metabolic conditions and coordinate multidisciplinary care where necessary •Provide counseling and education to patients regarding disease management, lifestyle modifications and preventive healthcare •Collaborate with relevant departments, specialists and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of patient care •Participate in clinical meetings, academic activities and quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and clinical protocols
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor 16 Years: MBBS
- Postgraduate Diploma: Endocrinology
Post-fellowship experience in Endocrinology; experience in managing patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, hormonal imbalances and other endocrine conditions
Clinical Assessment, Patient Counseling, Interpersonal Skills
PMDC-recognized MBBS; FCPS/ MD in Endocrinology or an equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification
