The Role
Driver providing safe, reliable and timely transportation to IRC staff, visitors and official guests in Quetta and field locations, maintaining the assigned vehicle and its logbook.
•Pick and drop IRC staff and guests to appointed destinations within given timeframes •Check the vehicle daily, perform minor and routine maintenance and report maintenance problems to the Supply Chain Officer •Ensure passenger safety through safe driving practices, including seat belts, speed limits, traffic regulations and defensive driving •Maintain the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the assigned vehicle •Maintain and regularly update the vehicle logbook with daily trips, mileage, fuel consumption and vehicle usage •Be willing to do petty loading and off-loading of items and supplies and assist passengers with parcels •Perform additional duties in support of office operations and participate in training as requested
Applicants General Eligibility & Requirements
Basic literacy and fluency in the local language required
3+ years
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
Preferred: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with NGOs/ INGOs
Basic Vehicle Maintenance, Logbook Maintenance
