The Role

Sadaqat Limited is looking for an experienced Manager Purchase General for Group Material Procurement at its Head Office in Faisalabad.

•Manage group-wide procurement of machinery spare parts, electrical and mechanical items, general stores, consumables, packing material and engineering items •Lead the sourcing of new and replacement machinery and Balancing/ Modernization (BMR) projects, including technical and commercial evaluation of quotations from European, Japanese, Chinese and local suppliers •Develop alternative and local sources for imported spares, including local fabrication where quality allows, to reduce cost and lead time •Negotiate with OEMs, agents and vendors on price, warranty, delivery and after-sales support, and finalize rate contracts •Coordinate with the engineering and maintenance departments of all plants to forecast requirements, maintain critical spares and prevent production downtime •Handle the full import cycle: pro-forma invoices, LC opening, shipping, customs clearance and coordination with banks and clearing agents •Control inventory levels by reducing slow-moving and dead stock and setting reorder levels for critical items •Ensure transparent procurement in line with company policies, with proper documentation and audit compliance •Prepare procurement MIS, savings reports and budget-versus-actual analysis for management •Lead, train and develop the procurement team
