The Role

NES Manager will be responsible to ensure staff professional development, identify the needs of professional growth and ensure staff certification and re-certification. The Manager will also upgrade staff knowledge and arrange sessions on new technology and research related to the nursing profession. Onsite, full-time role at the Head Office North Nazimabad Campus, Karachi.

•Identify need of staff development areas •Conduct ongoing sessions as per staff needs and their knowledge level •Guide nurses in patients assessment, planning of care, implementation and evaluation of nursing interventions •Make clinical rounds of the patients and perform teachings accordingly; take regular rounds to monitor the nursing staff practical performance •Evaluate the performance of staff nurses, providing feedback and mentoring •Work in coordination with the Deputy Medical Superintendent and Quality Assurance Department to improve the systems, KPIs and relevant activities •Work with Nursing Department as an active team member in planning and implementation of staff development in-service sessions •Design and deliver presentations for improvement of nursing staff's knowledge and skills •Supervise and monitor clinical practices of nursing staff and meet Nursing Manager on daily basis to update staff performance •Effectively recommend, develop and implement professional education and quality improvement •Assist patients and caregivers with educational needs, problem resolution and health management across the continuum of care •Monitor the specialized nursing services to an assigned group of patients, oversee that specialized care is within nursing protocols and assist in the performance of all related nursing duties
