The Role
Assistant Manager Logistics NGT (Smart Warehousing & Inventory) at the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Islamabad, purely on contract basis on a lump sum package (equivalent to PPS-7) for an initial period of 24 months, extendable on requirement basis.
•Maintain digital inventory intelligence covering NDMA relief stocks, stocking objectives, transactions, deficiencies and replenishment requirements •Prepare and optimize internal warehouse layout plans using digital floor-planning/ CAD tools •Plan technology-enabled stock placement, slotting and stacking using digital location codes and QR/ barcode/ RFID •Digitize receiving, put-away, picking, packing and dispatch workflows through electronic pick lists, scan verification and FIFO/ FEFO controls •Develop dashboards for stock position, warehouse capacity, space utilization, stock locations and dispatch queues •Configure automated alerts for minimum stock levels, abnormal consumption, near-expiry items and warehouse-capacity thresholds •Monitor warehouse activities through CCTV and approved video-analytics systems •Reconcile physical stocktaking with digital inventory and generate automated discrepancy reports •Use AI/ analytics to study stock movement, consumption and disaster trends for demand forecasting and prepositioning •Support IoT-enabled monitoring of temperature, humidity, fire/ safety and other warehouse conditions

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor 16 Years: Logistics/ Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, GIS/ Geoinformatics
Preferred: Post-qualification relevant experience in warehouse and inventory systems, digital stocking/ slotting and picking, barcode/ QR/ RFID, warehouse layout planning, WMS/ MIS and dashboards, stock analytics/ forecasting, IoT/ sensor-based monitoring, CCTV/ video analytics, inventory reconciliation and digital audit trails
