The Role
Two-year fellowship in Uro-Oncology at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre, Lahore, for a surgeon who has recently passed the FCPS or equivalent overseas qualification, to build knowledge and skills in oncological surgery in urology.
•Patient care in outpatient clinics, inpatient floors and operation theatres •Participate in an on-call rota for assessment and management of patients presenting to the emergency assessment room •Preoperative care of inpatients under direct supervision and supervision of resident medical staff •Participate in Multi-Disciplinary Tumor Boards and liaise with Medical and Radiation Oncology, Radiology, Pathology and Internal Medicine •Participate in departmental academic activities including teaching, research and audit
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Professional Bachelor: MBBS
- Postgraduate Diploma: FCPS Urology
Preferred: One-year experience after completion of FCPS or equivalent
•Valid PMC registration
