The Role
Manager (NGT) at the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Islamabad, purely on contract basis on a lump sum package (equivalent to PPS-9) for an initial period of 24 months, extendable on requirement basis.
•Lead the annual NGT research agenda on climate science, disaster risk reduction, AI and emerging technologies •Develop high-impact research, policy briefs, whitepapers and strategic frameworks to support NDMA decision-making •Lead interdisciplinary research on climate analytics, AI, geospatial technologies and technology-based DRR solutions •Supervise multidisciplinary teams and ensure timely delivery of research projects, pilots and technology solutions •Translate R&D findings into national guidelines, knowledge products, workshops and technical training programmes •Build national and international collaborations with universities, research councils, space agencies and technology institutions

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor 16 Years: Data Science, Climate Change, Environmental Sciences, Computer Science, Earth Sciences
10-12 years of practical experience in data analysis, software support or technical research within public or private sectors
R-Studio, SQL, Python
Preferred: GIS Platforms, Data Visualization
