The Role
Assistant Manager (NGT) at the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Islamabad, purely on contract basis on a lump sum package (equivalent to PPS-7) for an initial period of 24 months, extendable on requirement basis.
•Assist in implementation and day-to-day coordination of AI, GIS, data analytics and digital DRR initiatives •Collect, process and analyse disaster, climate, hydrometeorological and geospatial data to support decision-making •Support development and maintenance of technology platforms, dashboards, databases and digital knowledge repositories •Coordinate with universities, researchers and technology partners for data, research activities, meetings and technical inputs •Prepare datasets, presentations, technical summaries, progress reports and documentation for NGT initiatives •Support organization of trainings, workshops, seminars, demonstrations and pilot activities on emerging technologies for DRR

•Posts will be filled on open merit basis •Selected candidates must serve a minimum of 18 months a

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor 16 Years: Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, GIS/ Remote Sensing, Engineering, Disaster Management, Environmental Science
Preferred: Experience in technology, data analysis, GIS, research, disaster management or related areas
Documentation, Computer Skills
Preferred: AI/ ML, GIS, Databases, Data Visualization
