The Role

Research Associate in the Section of Dermatology, Department of Medicine, Aga Khan University, Karachi, supporting departmental research activities and databases.

•Conduct research meetings and maintain updated research information for faculty •Support data collection and maintenance of the ID outpatient database •Contribute to sectional research guidelines and research projects from protocol development to manuscript submission •Support day-to-day research and administrative activities of the DRC, Grants Division and Statistics & Methodology Clinic •Maintain repositories of research publications, protocols, monitoring reports and ERC documentation •Assist faculty and residents with manuscript and synopsis preparation and submission •Maintain departmental research databases •Provide technical support for EndNote, SPSS, plagiarism software, MS Office and online journals •Coordinate logistics for DRC meetings and prepare minutes •Support grant and ERC submissions through PeopleSoft •Design and maintain databases using REDCap, SPSS and EpiData •Provide administrative support for DRC workshops, courses, Annual Research Day and trainings •Prepare research and grants-related reports and support JCIA reaccreditation audits
