The Role
Trainee Radiographer in the Radiology Department of Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi. Full-time employment may be offered on successful completion of the traineeship, subject to availability of a vacant position.
•Learn and work under supervision on general radiography imaging systems including computed and digital radiography •Get oriented in MRI, CT, vascular interventional radiology, mammography, DEXA, ultrasound, PET-CT and nuclear medicine •Attend didactic sessions and rotate in modalities as scheduled •Observe and perform routine procedures under supervision •Prepare patients for imaging examinations and ensure their comfort and safety •Position patients accurately for radiographic projections with appropriate exposure factors •Follow hand hygiene and infection control protocols •Report to duty in professional attire with institutional ID and radiation monitoring badge •Perform duties in assigned shifts according to rota •Adhere to radiation safety protocols and the departmental code of ethics

•Fresh graduates in Imaging Technology preferred; BSc graduates in any biological sciences may also
