The Role
Research Associate in the Department of Plant Breeding and Genetics, University of Haripur, for the one-year PSF-funded project PSF/ NSLP/ KP-UoH (1033) "Development of tobacco varieties with improved sugar content and leaf area for enhanced productivity" under PI Dr. Khurram Shahzad.
•Assist in conducting research activities related to plant breeding and genetics •Perform plant transformation, tissue culture, PCR, cloning and other molecular biology techniques •Contribute to the development and maintenance of experimental protocols and records •Collaborate with project team members to achieve project goals •Participate in data analysis and interpretation
Applicants General Eligibility & Requirements
•Preferably enrolled in MSc (Hons)/ PhD programme
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor 16 Years: Plant Breeding and Genetics, Biotechnology
Research experience in plant transformation, tissue culture, PCR, cloning and basic molecular biology techniques
