The Role
Yum Group of Restaurants (YGR) is hiring a Purchase Officer in Lahore to manage day-to-day purchasing and supplier management.
•Manage day-to-day purchasing activities as per approved requirements •Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality •Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with vendors •Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain proper procurement records •Coordinate with stores, operations, finance, and suppliers for timely deliveries •Monitor stock requirements and ensure timely replenishment •Follow up on pending orders, deliveries, and supplier commitments •Maintain updated supplier/ vendor records and procurement documentation •Ensure purchases are made in accordance with company policies and approved budgets •Support cost-saving initiatives and identify opportunities for better purchasing terms
Applicants General Eligibility & Requirements
2- 3 years
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor 14 Years: Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce
2-3 years of relevant procurement/ purchasing experience Preferred: Experience in restaurant/ FMCG/ retail/ hospitality will be preferred
Vendor Negotiation, Communication, Microsoft Excel, MS Office, Coordination, Analytical Skills
