The Role
Alaska Batteries is looking for an IT Executive to support and maintain its day-to-day IT operations across office and business locations.
•Maintain and troubleshoot network, Wi-Fi, VPN and firewall infrastructure •Support Windows Servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and virtualization environments •Provide technical support to end users for computers, printers, email, software and other IT equipment •Maintain and troubleshoot CCTV, biometric and access-control systems •Support existing business applications and assist with basic SQL, scripting and software/ code maintenance •Maintain IT assets, documentation, backups and routine preventive maintenance •Coordinate with IT vendors, ISPs and service providers for technical support •Follow IT security practices and escalate major technical or security issues when required

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor 16 Years: Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering
•1-3 years of relevant IT experience
Networking, Windows Administration, Active Directory, DNS, IP Surveillance Systems, SQL, Technical Troubleshooting, Documentation
Preferred: CCNA
•CCNA, Microsoft or other relevant certifications/ training will be an advantage
