The Role
Deputy Manager- GRH (Coordination & Mobilization) at NDMA Islamabad, coordinating humanitarian, private-sector and development partners for disaster preparedness, response and recovery. Contract post on lump-sum package (equivalent to PPS-8) for an initial 24 months.
•Coordinate with NGOs, INGOs, UN agencies, private-sector entities, chambers of commerce, development partners and other humanitarian stakeholders for disaster preparedness, response and recovery •Communicate validated disaster-specific requirements and facilitate timely mobilization of financial, material, technical and logistical assistance •Support the Manager in facilitating structured private-sector and Corporate Social Responsibility engagement across priority areas •Prepare disaster-specific resource mobilization updates

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (16 Years): Project Management, Disaster Risk Management, Emergency Management, Business Administration, Public Policy, Development Studies
- MS / MPhil: Project Management, Disaster Risk Management, Emergency Management, Business Administration, Public Policy, Development Studies
4-6 years of relevant experience in public/ private/ development sector; prior experience of project management, coordination, data collection & management Preferred: Experience in disaster preparedness, multi-stakeholder coordination and policy/ plan development

•Posts are purely on contract basis for an initial period of 24 months (extendable), filled on open merit •Selected candidates must serve for a minimum period of 18 months
