The Role
PARCO is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for its Mid-Country Refinery with hands-on experience in both rotary and stationary equipment.
•Ensure fitness of rotating equipment and monitor its history and condition to determine and prioritize major maintenance scopes as per SOP •Carry out troubleshooting/ failure investigations and develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures using data analysis techniques •Develop a reliability database and structure by evaluating installed equipment and implementing best practices •Lead troubleshooting and repair of rotary equipment and machinery, including repair plans and root cause analysis •Provide direct field support for major maintenance execution of machinery scope, with quality plans and timely close-out reports •Contribute to Area Maintenance Strategy development through machinery scope development for major maintenance planning •Manage and provide technical support to mechanical contractors to ensure accurate scope completion, documentation and standards compliance •Provide input and decisions on repair or refurbishment of major spare parts •Oversee maintenance and reliability strategies for stationary equipment, including heat exchangers, pressure vessels, tanks, columns, reactors and piping •Develop and execute preventive maintenance and inspection programs for stationary equipment •Perform fitness-for-service evaluations and manage inspection, repair and replacement of stationary mechanical equipment •Support turnaround and shutdown activities for stationary equipment, including planning, scope development and close-out reports •Oversee contractor work on stationary equipment repairs and modifications to ensure adherence to design specifications and codes (API, ASME) •Assist in development and updating of risk-based inspection (RBI) programs •Coordinate with process and operations teams to align maintenance with production schedules •Review and approve mechanical and piping system designs against safety, environmental and operational criteria

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor 16 Years: Mechanical Engineering
Up to 8 years of experience in both rotary and stationary equipment of a Refinery/ Fertilizer/ Petrochemical industry; experience with API, ASME, ANSI and ASTM standards is a must
Rotating Equipment Maintenance, Static Equipment Integrity, Vibration Analysis, Root Cause Failure Analysis, API/ ASME Standards, Permit to Work
•Valid registration as Engineer with PEC
