The Role
PRAL is hiring an Enterprise IT Engineer for on-site work in Islamabad to design, run and secure enterprise network infrastructure.
•Design, implement and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure •Plan network architecture for headquarters, regional offices and disaster recovery sites •Develop scalable, resilient and secure network solutions aligned with organizational objectives •Manage enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, MPLS, Internet connectivity and SD-WAN environments •Configure, monitor and troubleshoot Layer-2 and Layer-3 networks •Administer enterprise routing and switching infrastructure •Implement network security standards; manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/ IPS, NAC and network segmentation •Coordinate vulnerability assessments and remediation activities •Monitor network utilization, latency, bandwidth and performance; maintain documentation and asset inventories •Coordinate preventive maintenance and firmware upgrades •Evaluate networking products, coordinate with telecom operators and review technical proposals and BoQs •Diagnose and resolve complex network issues and perform root cause analysis for major incidents •Participate in disaster recovery exercises and ensure adherence to SLAs
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor 16 Years: Computer Science, Information Technology
- Masters: Computer Science
Experience in enterprise network design and administration
VLANs and Inter-VLAN Routing, Layer-2 and Layer-3 Switching, VPN Technologies, Wireless LAN, QoS, DNS/ DHCP/ NTP, Load Balancing, Network High Availability, Enterprise Firewalls, Network Access Control, Network Monitoring Tools, Structured Cabling
