Inventory Manager

The Role

Vision Group is hiring an Inventory Manager in Lahore to manage stock records, warehouse and retail outlet inventory and inventory control procedures.

•Develop and implement inventory management procedures to ensure accurate stock records and optimal inventory levels •Monitor stock availability, movement, aging and turnover across warehouses and retail outlets •Establish minimum, maximum and reorder stock levels based on sales trends, seasonal demand and business requirements •Identify slow-moving, non-moving, obsolete and excess inventory and recommend corrective actions •Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP, inventory management system or POS system •Reconcile physical stock with system records and investigate discrepancies •Ensure all incoming stock is verified against purchase orders, delivery challans and supplier invoices, as applicable •Establish appropriate storage, labeling, barcoding and stock identification procedures •Ensure proper handling and storage of merchandise to minimize damage, deterioration and loss •Coordinate stock transfers between outlets based on demand, sales performance and stock availability •Collaborate with Sales, Merchandising and Procurement teams to forecast inventory requirements •Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving SKUs and recommend appropriate purchasing or stock redistribution decisions •Implement inventory control procedures to minimize theft, pilferage, unauthorized adjustments and stock losses •Report significant stock variances, control weaknesses and suspected irregularities to management •Develop dashboards and reports for inventory performance across outlets, categories and product lines •Develop standard operating procedures for stock handling, stocktaking, reconciliation and reporting
