The Role

Campus Security, GAS. Ensures a safe, secure and orderly campus environment through monitoring, emergency response and reporting.

•Maintain a constant presence across designated areas to ensure safety and compliance with LUMS security policies •Monitor CCTV and access control systems, promptly report suspicious activities, and coordinate with the control room for immediate response •Support in the enforcement of campus entry/ exit procedures, parking policies, and visitor management protocols •Respond promptly to emergencies, including fire, medical, and security incidents, ensuring safety measures are implemented effectively •Assist in evacuation drills, emergency exercises, and follow-up investigations •Coordinate with rescue services, law enforcement, and internal departments during emergencies •Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident records in the prescribed format •Ensure accountability in duty performance, attendance, and equipment handling (radios, keys, surveillance tools, etc.) •Report any malfunctioning security equipment or system to the supervisor immediately
