The Role

Phlebotomist at Memon Medical Institute Hospital, Karachi, collecting and handling blood samples for OPD and IPD patients.

•Generate patient slips and verify test requisitions as per physician prescriptions •Collect blood samples using venipuncture and finger-stick techniques for OPD & IPD patients •Ensure accurate patient identification and proper specimen collection, labeling and handling •Perform GTT testing and record results accurately •Maintain specimen integrity by following aseptic techniques and laboratory SOPs •Manage laboratory cash collection, reconciliation and inventory records •Ensure compliance with infection control practices, patient safety standards and hospital SOPs
