The Role

Civil Supervisor for the Ethanol Division of Unicol Limited at its ethanol plant in Mirpurkhas, to oversee civil construction, repairs and maintenance. Reports to the Civil Engineer.

•Supervise buildings, foundations, roads, drainage, masonry, concrete, waterproofing and plumbing works •Execute works according to approved drawings, specifications and schedules •Inspect infrastructure, identify repair needs and support preventive maintenance •Check dimensions, levels, materials and workmanship against approved requirements •Monitor material consumption, minimise wastage and maintain site measurements •Support verification of contractor quantities and bills; report defects for rectification •Coordinate contractors and labour; monitor deployment, productivity and workmanship •Coordinate work with plant departments to minimise operational disruption •Ensure compliance with work permits, PPE, safe access and housekeeping requirements •Maintain progress records and promptly report delays, hazards and infrastructure defects
