The Role

Chemical Manager to lead, manage and monitor the Finished Goods section of Quality Control and oversee EHS and quality compliance of the lab.

•Monitor finished goods release on time and prevent stockouts caused by QC delays •Manage and monitor qualification of new instruments •Define roles, workloads and cross-coverage, maintain a skills matrix and conduct tier meetings (daily, weekly, monthly) •Coach the team on data integrity, OOS/ OOT, safety and problem solving •Enforce ALCOA+ principles across paper and electronic records •Review and approve SOPs, STMs, specifications and logbooks and ensure version control •Conduct internal audits and close CAPAs on time •Cascade departmental goals to individual SMART goals, monitor KPIs through dashboards and manage performance and development •Track and deliver EHS goals, conduct chemical risk assessments, waste segregation and disposal •Lead troubleshooting of analytical issues, engage OEMs for complex instrument issues and facilitate method robustness improvements •Oversee vendor qualification testing and supplier re-evaluation •Govern OOS/ LIR investigations per SOP and ensure effective CAPAs •Support process validation analytics and oversee CSV/ GxP systems validation with QA/ IT •Represent QC in cross-functional forums such as Quality Council and Change Review Board
